Sphinx voice recognition software

Hi,

Has anyone here played with this package and actually managed to build everything and get the software to decode their own audio file into text?

Thanks

I got both Shinx4 and Pocketsphinx to work on Opensuse. However, the software is not plug and play. You would have to modify the code to print to file. Working with the software is quite involved and requires much reading and experimenting. No speech recognition system is 100% perfect with the results, so some kind of post processor is required to do anything with it, unless you want a limited vocabulary command and control.
