Voice Recognition software???

I used to use a software called Nitrous Voice Flux under Windows a long time ago. You can just record a phrase and associate it with an action. Once you say the phrase when the software was on, the action was performed. Actions included launching of programs, shutting down the pc(restart etc.), controlling system volume. That is one software i really miss.

Is there a Linux alternative? I dont think wine can be used, as the software used some speech libraries.

Thanks
