This is more software then hardware.
I ahve a router and when I try to configure it, it does not "save changes." I've looked in the html file and it is javascript. I have tried this on IE (after I sent CS mail), but I would rather use firefox over here on my linux box.
Here is a reply I got from customer service:
Quote:
Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for contacting Belkin Technical Support.
We understand that you are not able to save setting on the router under
Virtual server configuration.
Jeremy, this seems to be the problem with the script blocking
application installed in your computer.
As some of the antivirus application will have script blocking feature
which will not allow to configure some of the setting, please disable
the antivirus application installed in your computer and try to
reconfigure the router.
This should solve the problem.
Jeremy, if you need further assistance, please feel free to write back
to us and we will be happy to assist you.

Anyway,
After seeing that anti-virus software is sometiems to blam I asked mysefl:
Sense the kernel is built for security, is it hendering my ability to "save chagnes?"
I do knwo that firefox on Windows still doesnt work while IE does. So I dobt it has to do with the kernel. It's firefox.
