Save install config

I have FC3 up running, and everything changed the way I want. I would like to save the current setup to install onto other computers. Kicker only install's default packages, if anybody knows how or where, I could save everything (window decorations, mouse theme's, updated rpm's, new installed rpm's, printer config's, everything...)
This would save me a lot of time when installing on new computers, since I would only have to change minor hardware changes.

All this is saved in your home directory. Just backup your home directory and preserve it when installing a new version of Fedora Core from scratch. Mounting /home on a separate partition is one way to do it. However, be aware that a major software version upgrade might not accept old configuration settings fully.

That save's most settings, but not other installed rpm's (netscape, flashplayer, karamba, etc...).
The "custom redhat distro's howto's" are for RH9/7 and require default rpms but with updates. I would like a mirror image without using "ghost" or that route.

Well, but backing up complete partitions and restoring them on other machines is a great way to achieve what you plan to do. Tools like partimage or dd are fine for that. Even copying the entire filesystem (with cpio, tar) would be applicable.

What you describe really exceeds kickstart's capabilities unless you make your %post kickstart section apply a lot or all of your customisations.
