RHN update


when use rhn_register to update the package on RHN server , it pop the message "please ensure you have an up-to-date SSL certificate" , does it mean I need to install SSL package to the server ? if yes , what package (name) that I need to install ? thx

it's been a while since I did that... You need the "gpg-pubkey-blahblahblah" RPM. It's tiny, just installs the RHN public key.

Log into the RHN management web site and look around; search in the channel for your system for "gpg" or "key" and you should find an RPM you can download, FTP to the system and "rpm -vi foofile.rpm" to install it.

OR the RPM you need, *might* already be on your system... so a "find / -name gpg\*rpm" might turn it up locally.

I search through the google and rpmfind.net and the source CD disc , but do not find the package that you said , can advise where can i find it ? thx

You can check the RPM DB using:

rpm -qa | grep -i gpg
