Hi folks,
I have been moving over to linux for the last year or so and am very happy with the results. I now just have one task to make the switch with and then I can toast my windows partition.
Does anybody have a good solution for mapping / gps tracking in Linux. I was using 'memory map' on my windows partition and am looking for something that does much the same job in linux if possible.
I have been trying the 'grough route' on the grough.co.uk website, which does everything that memory map does online, so works grand from linux, however, I would ideally like something that I can use offline as well.
Generally, I use these things for planning fell hiking and running routes, looking at distance and elevation profiles and to view gps tracks that I have made while out and about
Just wondered if anyone has any solutions that they use?
Thanks!
