LibreOffice - language user interface change


Dear All,

MX come with LibreOffice,
how change its User Interface Language?

shows many language distros, on MSWindows, it wouldn't take blink of an eye, but on Linux, well, yes...

how?

Tools->Options->Language Settings->Languages->User interface

Yes, ive been there, but there is only US English, nothing more,

Ok, let's pretend it's Portuguese.

You would want to install libreoffice-l10n-pt and (for the help files) libreoffice-help-pt.

xxx- language code
that works!

thank you,

and how (if someone by the way knows) it is possible to turn on xxx-language dictionary ./ underlining misspelled words ?

Dictionaries (and grammar checkers, thesauruses, hyphenators, etc. if they exist) usually come as LibreOffice extensions.

https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions

For example, if you're looking for a Portuguese dictionary, a search for "Portuguese" at the above link returns the following extension: Corretor Ortografico para Portugues de Portugal.
