K3b: - Howto re-dock "Directories" and "Contents" windows back into the main window?

My 4 year old son managed to undock the "directory" and "contents" window in the K3b application.

Could anyone please explain how to re-integrate these windows back into the K3b app? ie: so it, the app, opens with one screen and I don't have to open the dirctories windows seperately!

Thanks

Hi,
Did you look in k3b "settings" and put a checkmark in "show directories", "show contents" and "show document header"?

well I played a bit with mine to see what I could do.

when you open it .....click on Settings then click on show the directory and contents....now the fun bit.....assuming you are KDE right hand configured....right hand (or context click) on each window....the white space will normally suffice and a menu appears which says unlock or lock....before you lock move the location by left hand click and grabbing the area with the indent circles or depressions and move it to where you want the right hand click to LOCK then close down and re-open to test

hope that helps

I have tried the above but no joy, under settings menu, all 3 directories, contents and documents header are ticked. ( the three windows float separately) I have tried the context right click on the white area but no menu opens. I'm running K3b 0.12.14 (Using KDE 3.5.0 Level "a" SuSE 9.3) if that is any help. I tried upgrading to the newest version I could find but my settings stayed the same.

Thanks so far!

ok I think I have now found it.....

when you start its undocked.....move one to its over the main panel and if you look just below the top right hand X to close there is a down pointing arrow ...hover it and it should say dock...to dock it.

(2) redo for each undocked bit

(3) if that still fails and you are still reading this, heh heh there is a config file (backup pls) in your hidden files as
/home/name/.(dot) kde/share/config/k3brc

all is revealed I bet if you look b4 doing above you will see undocked then docked

you can become a slacker by edit by hand or for extra fizz just delete (make sure k3b not running ) then re-open k3b for the default settings....it then needs the burn speed reset

enjoy your burning
