Question how to run a windows application one linux


recent i saw a picture about linux9.2 run realone
i know that realone is a win application ,how to do that?

A Linux based realplayer can be downloaded from http://forms.real.com/real/player/un...03realhome_1_3
Just make sure that you select the right one (probably one of the i386 based versions). Works quite well on mine.

realone err's out on me
says permissions bad

did you try installing it as root? and running it as root? try either/or/both of those, might fix the problem for you. Usually the case with permissions.

or try using a windows emulator e.g. wine(x), win4lin, vmware ...

Use a win emulator only if there's not linux native programs. Although wine has been doing great improvements, it's still far from perfect...
