How to load a ".gz" NIC driver from floppy?

I´m a complete newbie. I need Caldera Linux Open Desktop to load the "SMC 91 c 94" NIC driver. I have the "smc9194.o.gz" file on a floppy disk.

I tried KDE > Settings > COAS > Network > Ethernet Interfaces > New Device

...BUT I can't find any option to load the driver from a floppy disk.

*How do I do it?
*Do I need to run Lizard again instead? How?

you shouldn't need the disk, it'll already be on your system as part of your kernel. i've no idea what lizard is, but netconfig should be able to get you through installing the card easily enough
