No, the one you suggested does not work at all.
As you are an active member, next time you may suggest the following ones:

(1) https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...ring-switcher/
(2) https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...on/uaswitcher/

Both work at my end, while (1) works better than (2).

Why do you continue misrepresent what happened? Doing so makes you look like either an idiot or a sociopath.

A truth-teller is neither an idiot nor a sociopath. Please accept the truth.

Your apparent inability to use or understand basic logic makes meaningful discourse with you next to impossible. Probably best if you stop posting if you'd rather not embarrass yourself further.

The user agent switcher recommended in posts #13 and #18 (written by the idiots at Google) presumably only changes the HTTP user agent header, but - as I pointed out in post #48 - there are other places which may need to be spoofed when JavaScript is involved.

The reason Ray Lothian's User-Agent Switcher and Manager worked when others did not is because it explicitly covers those additional cases:

This extension spoofs more than just the userAgent key. Currently "navigator.userAgent", "navigator.appVersion", "navigator.platform", "navigator.vendor", "navigator.product", and "navigator.oscpu" are all spoofed.
The plugin's GitHub repo has links to versions for other browsers.

If you intend to pick a quarrel rather than join the discussion, please stop posting. I do not have the ability to understand your meaningless, illogical behaviour.

I have just installed the following version on Chrome:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...bampogmaanbfkg

However, I still cannot watch videos on the Chinese website on Chrome.
I can do so only on Firefox although I have selected the same user-agent on Chrome and Firefox.

In such a situation you should be checking the issue tracker of the software!

The most recent issue highlights that Google have started adding additional HTTP headers which they are trying to force into the HTTP standard. Currently they can be disabled, but Google wants to make them read-only, which presumably means the disabling option will go away at some point. Best solution: Stop using Google browsers (and Google software and services in general).

On the switcher, I have tried Chrome and Edge, and I cannot watch a full/live video on the said Chinese site. Instead, a circle is turning permanently, showing that the video cannot be loaded/played.
