It works, but my browser is still shown as "Chrome on Linux". See the screenshot attached below:
Also might want to clear all cookies and possibly restart the browser.
I cleared all cookies, restarted the browser, and logged on to the website, which took me to the page shown in the attached screenshot. The page has remained unchanged since then. Evidently, it knows that I am using Chrome on Linux. Therefore, I can only see a black screen.

The console is shown in the attached screenshot.
The console says the following:
Code:
A parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script,
https://api.ads.tvb.com/mytvs/ana/config.php?os=web&device=pc&env=prod&lang=en,
is invoked via document.write.
The network request for this script MAY be blocked by the browser in this
or a future page load due to poor network connectivity.
If blocked in this page load, it will be confirmed in a subsequent console message.

things that are presented without having any desire to understand what is really
happening. Makes problem solving near impossible. So I want to know if you believe
in magic so that I can determine if my attempts to help you are actually worth
the effort.
I have solved the problem by installing Google Chrome for Windows on Lutris.
I am now running Linux. When I use Chrome for Windows on Lutris, "www.whatismybrowser.com" will show the following:
