There should be a button near the address bar for the user agent switcher. If you really can't work it out, please google it there must be dozens of youtube videos on how use it.

It works, but my browser is still shown as "Chrome on Linux". See the screenshot attached below:

User agent string change seems good. Try the video streaming site.

Also might want to clear all cookies and possibly restart the browser.

I cleared all cookies, restarted the browser, and logged on to the website, which took me to the page shown in the attached screenshot. The page has remained unchanged since then. Evidently, it knows that I am using Chrome on Linux. Therefore, I can only see a black screen.

Did you check for errors in the log? Hit F12 and have a look at the console.

The console is shown in the attached screenshot.
The console says the following:
Code:
A parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script,
https://api.ads.tvb.com/mytvs/ana/config.php?os=web&device=pc&env=prod&lang=en,
is invoked via document.write.
The network request for this script MAY be blocked by the browser in this
or a future page load due to poor network connectivity.
If blocked in this page load, it will be confirmed in a subsequent console message.
See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5718547946799104 for more details.
As a poorly educated person, I don't know what it is talking about.

The text you copied is just a warning and doesn't seem related to your problem. The text in red is what I think you should be looking into.

The text in red is "Browser not supported!".
There is nothing to be looking into. Just look at the following screenshot, which has explained why the Linux browser is not supported:

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...3&d=1656477570

The only solution is to use a browser for Windows or Mac OS.

What does magic have to do with web browsers?

Nothing to do with web browsers. Everything to do with unquestioningly believing
things that are presented without having any desire to understand what is really
happening. Makes problem solving near impossible. So I want to know if you believe
in magic so that I can determine if my attempts to help you are actually worth
the effort.

This thread is not about magic. Your attempts have not helped fix my problem this time. Hopefully, you can help me next time.

Matthew, have you managed to set your user agent to windows yet? If so, did that resolve your original problem?

If not, try that and report back. It is unclear from the messages here if you have done that yet or not.

I have set it to the following:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/98.0.4758.102 Safari/537.36

That has not solved the problem.

I have solved the problem by installing Google Chrome for Windows on Lutris.
I am now running Linux. When I use Chrome for Windows on Lutris, "www.whatismybrowser.com" will show the following:

https://cdn.discuss.com.hk/t/d3a011/...j675Ccm7UZ.jpg

That is the only solution.
