Just curious if anyone has happened to use to newest DVD Shrink under the newest Wine? I'm going to use Suse 9.1 and I'm expecting to have to rip the dvd to my hdd then use DVD Shrink then burn with K3b or something.

There is software that can be used to compress DVD content for Linux also. If you want to compress a Video DVD for example you may use mplayer. But it's really your choice. I think you should at least use Google to search for a linux DVD software package for what you want. A linux programm will allways work better than an emulated one.
