adcli rpm package not available for centos6 from epel-release repository

Hi Team,

I am in in need of adcli package to integrate kerberized linux client to Active Directory. Last week, adcli rpm package of 64bit was available in epel-release for centos6. But from last 4 days, the adcli package is not available when i run the command as "yum install adcli". I also tried to search in other websites to download the adcli package manually but i didn't find. Can you please help me if there is any link to download this rpm package manually?? If anyone has already downloaded the package, you can also mail me at rahul.buragohain@gmail.com

Thanks,
Rahul

The el6 package for your OS, CentOS 6, is here http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3

EDIT : Sorry, no package ... doesn't exist any more.

Hi All,

I tried to download from both the sites as you all provided. The adcli package exists only for centos7 version. But adcli package for centos6-64 bit doesn't exists. Can you please try to download from your end from any more websites?? Please let me know if adcli package gets downloaded for "centos6-64bit".

Thanks,
Rahul

I find that hard to believe, since I was able to download a 64 bit package from the second link easily, for CentOS6. In fact, there were links to both 64 and 32 bit adcli packages, and clicking the 64 bit one led to FIVE SOURCES, all of which worked.

Also, this:

...is fairly rude. You are, essentially, asking us to find something for you, and then email you?? This isn't the place to come for personalized, one-on-one free tech support. There is nothing we can look up that you can't...is there something preventing you from searching as well as us?

You've been here for FIVE YEARS now...haven't you read the LQ Rules and Question Guidelines yet?

Look LQ Guru, if you don't want to help, then dont help. But dont give lectures. If you cannot resolve our issue, then remove the word "Guru", which is just useless.

No, I can't resolve your 'issue', because there isn't one. The package is THERE, and available. The issues seem to be:
  • You didn't want to search for it yourself
  • You wanted others to look it up for you...
  • ...then email you a link/package so you didn't have to do it
  • You aren't able to click a link on a web page that someone ELSE handed to you.
So no...we can't fix those issues. You'll have to fix all of them yourself, since they seem centered around you. You were spoon-fed two links (which you COULD have looked up yourself), and are STILL unable to download what you need. As said, the second link provided was easy to find...search for adcli for CentOS6 brings up two links...one for 32 and the other for 64 bit. Clicking THAT link brings up FIVE SOURCES that, if clicked, will let you download what you want.

If you're unable to click a link on a web page, perhaps you should get someone else there to do it for you.
