Change the nameservers to wherever you're going to handle the DNS.
If NameCheap offer free DNS hosting with your domain then leave the nameservers for the domain as they are and just add the appropriate A record(s) to the zone.
I've a domain with NameCheap that is pointed to GoDaddy for the nameservers (I've their premium DNS account that lets me use their nameservers for "external" domains) and with the A records pointed to a server hosted by OVH.
I've not run public facing BIND for any of my domains for YEARS!
