hi, i need to config two already purchased domains (www.mydomain.com, server.otherdomain.com) for two scenarios:

1. use "server.otherdomain.com" for accesing a linux server (ssh: username@server.otherdomain.com) or using for connecting to different app servers, services.

2. in the same server use "www.mydomain.com" for a certain website (php/joomla) hosted on apache httpd + php. i have heard that this refers to using something called "virtualhosts".

im new to linux admin and apache httpd admin, any help will be highly appreciated!.

apache version is: Apache/2.4.10 (Unix)

OS: CentOS Linux release 7.0.1406
