Bare Minimum Servers

Ok, I need to deploy 4 servers. To keep things simple, they are all going to perform one major task. Two Apache (one for HTTPS one HTTP), One mySQL and One Exim.

I will be using Fedora Core 2 simply because my timeline is very short and it is what I am most comfortable on other than RH9.

Now, My question:

What are the bare minimum services I can install to minimize the number of possible exploits on each machine?

OR

Is there an alternative I should be looking at?

Thanks in advance.

Slackware make fantastic servers. But with FC2, only have \the main service you're going to have on that computer, cron, ssh, atd, network, dhcp (or bootp), and nfs (if you need/want it). Plus all the other essential things.

I guess Bastille may help in anything I overlooked. Right?
