Cordx, that is the general idea, and I want to do that, but I am facing problems with doing what Mrmazda has suggested and this is one way to troubleshoot. I will abandon this thread once that is done.

I don't understand how you were able to get that error message in the screenshot. If you have SeaMonkey installed via YaST or Zypper, you already have SeaMonkey Mail installed. If you are using SeaMonkey Browser, just select Mail from its Window menu, or click the envelope icon on the browser's statusbar.

That kind of message is usually due to a transient mirror error. Please try again later when that happens. Don't try to install SeaMonkey Mail, only SeaMonkey. Alternatively, use Zypper in a terminal:
Code:
sudo zypper in seamonkey

What happens if you do the following?:
Code:
sudo zypper ref
What are you doing to mix all that HTML formatting in the actual messages? What terminal are you using for zypper?

This site is not opening
https://forums.opensuse.org/private.php
I could see that there was a new notification, but when I clicked on it the connection got severed.

If you would provide some clue as to where this conversation was placed or your username there or the thread topic you created I might be able to chime in or otherwise participate.

It seems as though you have a DNS problem causing the Connection failed...Could not resolve host messages and failures. That is not something I'm any good at solving.
