hii..i'm new linux user and i use mandriva. i got a problem how to connect to internet. i found ppp to setting internet connection but i have to choose where is my modem device in. this is the problem, i didn't know how to find my modem device in. help me please -_-Y this isn't easy like windows.
To help you some more information is required. What is your modem? Is it a USB device, a network device, a serial device or something else?
It is not as easy to do this in Linux because device manufacturers and ISP companies do not provide the level of support for Linux that they do for Windows and Mac users.
