Hello Friends

My service provider has given me the Internet connection , which i connect by using the username and password in windows. when i setup connection is windows 7 , i think it is a pppoe connection . My username : reza
service name : omstarnet
password : ******

I am able to connect to Internet easily in windows .
But when i connect to Fedora 16, by creating a DSL connection , it connect when i configure for the first time . After rebooting the system i am not able to connect to that connection . it tries to connect but after few seconds fails .

Then only way that able me to reconnect is fresh installation of OS.

Kindly help me what to do.

i use the GUI tool of networking by using this command

nm-connection-editor

I click on as i mention earlier created DSL connection 1. when i click on it . tries to connect to Internet but no luck.. I don't get any error after this ,, simply no network symbol in the network icon at the top of the desktop.
it was working when i did the fresh installation of Fedora , but after rebooting this disaster happens.
If i do the fresh installation on Fedora again it will work for until you reboot the system.

How do you go about attempting to connect in Fedora?

Are you using the command line or a GIU?

What happens when you are unable to connect? Is there an error message?

If no error, then what exactly causes you to come to the conclusion that you've failed to connect?

Please be specific, and I'd wager that we can help you.
