Mplayer fine tuning

Hi i installed and configured Mplayer, and everything seems to works good.
The only little problem is that i would like to start it in full screen without Xscreensaver as i can choose from the settings just right click over its screen.
It says that to make my preferences working i have to restart Mplayer but when i do it, my preferences are ignored: no full screen Xscreensaver every five minutes.
Does it probably miss a config file?

This is what it write when i run a .avi file:

:~$ gmplayer
