Linux Mint 10 hangs during install after completing who are you
Hey, Im new here, hoping somebody already has the answer to the install problem. After hanging at the who are you page. It is searching network for the time? this is never resolved. Im not on a network. These two issues are at the same time. Thanks
I guess it is possible that the disk is bad somehow or some issue with the system. I don't think this is normal or a common problem.
Might try to get a new or test your iso source to be sure it is good. Then burn it on a quality cd at slowest speeds and try to install it again. dunno. maybe a usb flash install to try it?
Hi gold57,
I had the same trouble where the forward button will be greyed out at the page where you are to enter in your user name password etc. you have to only use small letters and no caps, also no spaces. if you do this you should be able to proceed.
