Smile How many log ons


I log into linux and go to the command line and use "who" and I get this

pts (:0)10:00
tty 06 10:00
tty 01 10:02

is this 3 logons?

just type w on your command prompt to know how many users login on the server

Why would ifconfig show packets received and packets transmitted when I have not signed on to a wireless network?

And remember, not all of the terminals are logins, just another shells.
