Question Can't get Network card or WiFi card to work in Fedora 13

HI, my name is Jesse, I have been using linux for a grand total of 2 days now. I have a dual boot Dell Latitude E6410 with Win 7 pro and Fedora 13. The installation of Fedora was really easy and didn't have any problems. My problem is that I cannot seem to get a network card to work and obviously connect to the internet. I downloaded ndiswrapper and saved it to a thumb drive, copied the .tar.gz file to my /home/jesse folder. I then did the #tar filename.tar.gz command and it created a bunch of files. I tried the make command and now I am stuck. I have tried using the GUI admin tools for add/remove software but there are no packages found! I downloaded some other packages but they don't show up in there. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be great! Thank you

Dell Latitude E6410
i5 CPU
DW1501 N half-min wifi card (broadcom chipset from what I have found)
Intel 82577LM Gigabit Network card

Same issue here with me (my E6410 is slightly different though). The ethernet at least (didn't try wireless) worked up until the first boot (since I installed via a netinstall). Now it doesn't seem to work at all. I have the Intel 6300 wireless, not the Broadcom chip. It's almost as if the drivers are missing, since Fedora doesn't even recognise that either of them are present in the machine, yet they work fine under a previous install of Mint and under Windows 7.

you might want to have a look at one of the most recommenced fedora quick help pages -- Mjm's
http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mj...3.html#network
and also DangerMouse's site
http://www.dnmouse.org/

other than looking on the "fedorafourm.org"
these two are the most recommended

i do not use fedora any more BUT still hit the two from time to time
