Hi,
Is it possible to network a pc running debain to another running windows xp and share the internet through that connection?
The pc running windows connects to the internet using a wireless connection.
Cheers
Warren
what u can do is
share ur internet connection from ur windows PC and then(right click on ur internet connection icon and select internet sharing)
eiher use DHCP for this linuxmachine to get the IP or specify he gateway as window machine and u can browse internet from ur linux machine also
there is a internet sharing module
see if u do not have that then go to ad remove programs.go rto windows components to install that
for win Xp
then right click on ur connection then
go to advanced tab and choose "allow users to coonct to internet from this computer"
and it will set ur IP to 192.168l.0.1 and set the iP adress of other machies as "obtain automatically" and u r done
