differences between Solaris and Redhat9?

anybody can give me detail informations about the differences of Solaris and RedHat9??

Solaris is made by Sun Microsystems and is Unix-based. While RedHat 9 is made by Red Hat Inc. and is Linux-based.

I've only ever used Solaris. Never installed or configured it so I couldn't tell ya the kernel configuration, sorry.
