I got push notifications from some apps I installed, such as a courier app for status update, since the notification is too small too see clearly so I open the notification which in turn starts an app installed for that particular courier, to see the detail of the delivery. But the app was poorly designed did not provide some info. such as the code for package collection sent by the delivery guy, so I need to contact the courier for more info., that was a special case I came across may not be a flaw of Android, but I would like to know if there's any way to recall those read/dismissed push notifications ?
If by 'push notifications' you mean plain notifications shown in the shade, then on most phones you can use a somewhat technical notification log settings widget (add settings widget and you'll be prompted for type), also there are lots of notification logging apps available https://f-droid.org/en/packages/de.jl.notificationlog/

Thanks for the tip, I installed another more recent similar log viewer will see how it works.
