Hi,
I recently installed Linux Mint Gloria on my Acer Aspire 5738z laptop with 3 GB RAM and Intel GMA 4500M video card.
I have observed a strange behavior. The system freezes on its own and comes to live only when I place my finger on the touchpad.
Like for example I am browsing, the page suddenly stops loading and freezes. If I touch the touchpad, the browser de-freezes.
If I am working on the terminal and installing some applications using apt-get, the scrolling display suddenly freezes. I have to put my finger back on the touchpad to make it work again.
