I have a Samsung Laptop refuses to install Linux Mint

I have a Samsung Laptop refuses to install Linux Mint.
It is a Notebook NP900X3D-A01UK I resized the Windoze and then tried to boot into the bias as recommended switch on and press F2 but will not work.

The Samsung rep says it should work but the laptop is design for only one operating system I do not believe him.

I said, "So any way of fixing it? does it have a bios battery that can be taken out perhaps to reset the bios to the original."

He said he does not know and refers me to a service centre.

Anyone have any ideas as this ios needed by a friend to do web hosting and design work needing geany filezilla and the usual good Linux stuff?

Looks like you're supposed to press it repeatedly after the Samsung logo appears: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/o...oduct/np900x3d

Edit/add: sometimes F12 will bring up a boot order menu? Tho I didn't read much of your manual...

And yes you can dual boot it.
