USB SoundBlaster Audigy 2 NX

I am having problems with setting up the USB Soundblaster Audigy 2 NX with Red Hat. I have been able to get the drivers setup using SND_USB_AUDIO. However, the only part that works is the output and even that is garbled. Through the ALSA MIXER I cannot seem to have any control over the mic and can't seem to setup the mic in order to have input. Any ideas? Thanks
Jonathan

I just read elsewhere on LQ that the SBL24 is NOT an emu-based unit; maybe this is your problem?... Just a thought; not expert or anything on this.
