This 120 is in process of migration to 512GiB because the 120 is no longer as big as needed. All 12 boot on the new, but the partitioning tools are complaining of multiple errors resulting from the smaller NVME to larger NVME cloning.

OK, initrd removed from elilo.conf, system rebooted. I think that's it. Thanks. This was quite a process. I will make detailed notes for the next time I have to do this. The 'Legacy boot' installation was so much simpler, but I guess it's time to move on.

I have several questions related to UEFI <--> Legacy conversion and RAID, but I'll ask those in other threads. Here's the 1st about converting from Legacy to UEFI: https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ot-4175723257/
