abrahimzaman360,

Welcome to LQ forums.

If Secure Boot is on, disable it.

Then, in Terminal, run the following commands one after the other (preferably using copy & paste to avoid typing errors):

Code:
sudo apt install --reinstall git dkms build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r)
git clone https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8821ce
cd rtl8821ce
chmod +x dkms-install.sh
chmod +x dkms-remove.sh
sudo ./dkms-install.sh
reboot

abrahimzaman360,

Did you try using rtl8822ce instead?

Are you suggesting they instead use the URL https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8822ce - which gives a HTTP 404 Not Found? :/

(Or perhaps you're referencing the top result of searching which has a readme says "this is for a specific project, don't use it"?)

abrahimzaman360, please run inxi to confirm things like the kernel you're using and what driver is currently installed - specifically, "inxi -SMnz" should give the relevant information - copy & paste it inside "[code]..[/code]" tags to preserve formatting.

If you're getting the same issue with both Ubuntu and Fedora then it seems likely to be something common to both (maybe hardware, maybe firmware, maybe something else), so if you still have Fedora available then running the same command there may be useful.

Try this one:
https://github.com/lwfinger/rtw88

But maybe it should be in the kernel, so post:
Code:
uname -a
Code:
sudo modinfo rtw88_8822ce
