tablet screen and stylus pen on lenovo x60 with ubuntu (wubi installed)

lenovo x60 tablet thinkpad, had windows xp 2005 tablet version preinstalled, installed ubuntu via wubi. have yet to find anything useful online about how to get the pen and screen to work. there is simply no response from using the pen, like clicking on a non tablet screen.

any help greatly appreciated. thanks.

here's my xorg conf before i make any attempt to make any changes.

Quote:

# values from the debconf database.

# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

there's alot of "configured whatever"... i dont recall seeing that feature so recurringly in other installs of mine elsewhere. probably not important. does it mean theres another config file i should be looking for elsewhere?

anyways, please, any help, thnx.

-edit-
forgot to mention,

when i attempt to run the wacom thing i get the following error...
GSynaptics couldn't initialize.
You have to set 'SHMConfig' 'true' in xorg.conf or XF86Config to use GSynaptics

so.. i added that line.. but likely in totaly the wrong place.... but still, there's a whole section missing from my xorg conf isnt there...?
