svga question

Hi all!

The folowing problem occurs on my Mandrake 8.2 machine. Wenever I start an svga prog in a virtual console (eg. I do <ctrl><alt>F1 within X-window), my monitor goed to sleep. When I swith back to X (<alt>F7) my monitor wakes up. I can now swith back to the console and everythings's ok. Does anyone have a clue on how to fix this annoying problem?

Thanks
