lm_sensor and modprobe?

Everytime I boot I get this message in my log files:

Feb 11 01:26:05 Computer lm_sensors: Starting up sensors:
Feb 11 01:26:06 Computer lm_sensors: Can't access /proc file
Feb 11 01:26:06 Computer lm_sensors:
Feb 11 01:26:06 Computer lm_sensors: Unable to find i2c bus information;
Feb 11 01:26:06 Computer lm_sensors: For 2.6 kernels, make sure you have mounted sysfs!
Feb 11 01:26:06 Computer lm_sensors: For older kernels, make sure you have done 'modprobe i2c-proc'!

What is lm_sensor and what is modprobe?

Thanks!

no ideas about lm_sensors, but modprobe is a command used to probe modules
This commands look at module dependency, and then insert the dependency modules if they exist and the module (it's a combination of depmod and insmod)
