I was just wondering, is there a mobile device (e.g. pocketpc, pda, tablet etc) that runs Linux. I'd like a portable computer (other than a laptop) but I don't want the taint of windows on my person again.

If there isn't a device that is natively Linux, is there one I can convert to Linux...I'm pretty sure that pdas are out because their OS is generally burned into ROM, and I think Tablets could handle it, since they're actually like laptops with another form, but what about the pocket pc things...some way to put a mini-distro on them?

Bwahahaha, what a stupid question! I guess I wasn't searching right. Anyway, there's a whole line of sweet Linux mobiles...check out Linuxdevices.com if you are interested. Geez, I feel kinda stupid...

Anyway, here's another question for you (and I hope I don't find the answer elsewhere right after posting this)...would a Linux based PDA, on an intel processor be able to run standard Linux software? I'm thinking that it would be cool to have a PDA (Zaurus 5600) emulate a Gameboy Advance....

google gnuboy...I think it is gameboy color though?
