Changing background color behind splash screen

I just got a new login screen for red hat, and a splash screen for gnome. Both of them are grey based. When I log in to my system, though, the background behind the splash screen remains a bright blue. How can I change the color of that?

Start applications -> Control Center -> Appeareance & Themes -> Background

No.. I did change that background to black (in the screen where you pic the background pic, right?). I am talking about the background color as GNOME is loading and it is displaying the spash screen. Right after I log in.
