Can I share temp dir?

I'm setting up my 120gb disk to run slack and deb. I read moses guide to partitioning and got some basic plan. I'd like to know if I can share the 'temp' dir between the two linux os. It would save me another partition and quite some space of my home dir.
Any clues?

Regards

You can safely share your /tmp and swap space, really no reason to waste the space creating two of each for each Linux OS. Some will even share /boot and /home as well..
