I've been searching google.com/linux for some time now and I have yet to find a website with benchmark testing to see which Window Managers are actually the fastest. Almost all of the non-Gnome/KDE WM claim to be lightning fast or the fastest, but all the websites I find doing comparisons seem to just be comparing their features.

On rasterman.com, 29 May 2005 under News, he does the only tests I've ever seen comparing WMs. However, he IS the creator of Enlightenment. I'm not accusing him of being unethical in his testing, I would just like to see an independent come up with some benchmarks to ensure that the WMs are tested over a variety of issues, not just the ones that make this WM look good or that one look good.

If anyone knows of some good websites, that'd be great. If there aren't any, what's the best thread on here where people are discussing their WMs? (without too much flaming, I hope)

I don't know of any benchmarks other than installing them all and trying them out yourself. As for WM discussion, I guess that would one of the few threads that actually belong here. I don't think there is a regular thread for that. Could put it in Software, but I feel that it is for application stuff, not system stuff.
