Other Window managers

Does anyone know of any lightweight window manager similar to Window Maker or Fluxbox that does not require the Development package and headers. ? thanks

If you want a lightweight window manager that doesn't require the developer packages, why don't you install binary rpm's or something like that. You normally only need the devel packages for compilation.

I connot find an up to date WindowMaker rpm or fluxbox. What is a binary rpm?

All RPMs are binary packages.

Why not just install the headers? All distros come with it.

I dont know what you mean by headers.

Heres what happend i tried to install WindowMaker

could not cuz i didnt have -devel and headers

tried to install the devel package from the RH9 cd

could not cuz i need klib5 and openssl

downloaded them and they would not install

tried to get fluxbox same thing happend.
