Sweet very interesting, someone mentioned a how to run a quake 3 server, does anyone know of a how to for running an America's Army server?... I am a fan of AA and would like to have a server of my own ... i don't know if anyone knows how to do this but if ya'll did that would be AWESOME!, thanks again...
native:
quake 3 with binaries
UT2004 (not sure the patch level) with binaries (i think they're on the CDs)
UT2003
Quake 4 demo -- my sound was fubared like an acid trip and compelled me to just keep playing cause it was funny
America's Army 2.50
Alien Arena
Enemy Territory 2.60
Wine:
Deus Ex (originally 1.0xx then installed 1.112fm patch)
Call of Duty (with help of Loki installer script)
Return to Castle Wolfenstein (with help of Loki installer script)
Guild Wars (with help of Loki installer script)
Soldier of Fortune 1
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast (both sp and mp work)
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (same)
Unreal Tournament GOY
These didn't work with Wine:
System Shock 2
Morrowind -- was able to load the opening boat scene with Juib but dog slow and seemingly no hardware acceleration. Kill-9'd it
MOHAA -- can't install second disk. Haven't tried Cedega yet. Note: found out how...later today will test...
SWKOTOR -- installed with loki installer script but no mouse and crashes as soon as i try to load game.. looking for fix....
I have a lot of games and will still test everything I can.

Nexuiz is cool...I don't know if its big as such. World of Padman is another good FPS - has that been mentioned? I'm playing Freedom Force and Painkiller through Wine at the moment. The best bit is that Freedom Force doesn't work on Windows any more.
I didn't see Kobo Deluxe on that list anywhere. rrootage is also pretty good, if a little strange. Another personal favorite is Xgalaga-Hyperspace. If you are not into space shoot 'em ups, there is also Neverball and Neverputt. One I got for my six year old that I wound up playing quite a bit is Planet Penguin Racer. It is loads of fun. I also second the recommendation of Nexuiz. And Metal Blob Solid. So many fun, free games on Linux, it is ridiculous. And that is without emulators.
The Baldur's Gate-series are almost the only games I play. Unfortunately there's some kind of lag playing it through wine. Does anyone know how to fix this?
The native Linux games I've played are:
Urban Terror
Enemy Territory
Open Arena
