Ultima Online

How can i get ultima online installed from the downloaded version installer? (my other cds have long since been lost , but the other day there was an offer to let you download Age of Shadows for free if you had already played or somthing) Ive tried running it with winex3, it seems to extract everything and then fail. If somehow i could find out where its being extracted to maybe i could run the 2d installer exe directly and it would work ?

Well i had a brain wave. I extracted the exe in windows using winzip, and then burned it onto a cd. Then booted back into linux, and installed it from there.

It seems to run and patch fine, problem is i play on a sphere server so i need to use client 2.0.3 but when i winex3 that, it doesnt show any graphics . any ideas / anyone got it working themselfs ?

For aos, i think winex worked best, i had to use wine for the old client my shard used. But to install with winex just run the 2d installer exe with winex. I cant remember the exact file name or anything because im at college. I do remember that it doesnt work with the main setup program though, you have to use the one for 2d directly.

hi;

kzar, i am having the same "underrun on sound buffer" when trying to run Half Life with wine. I get sound but its very poor quality and laggy. I was wondering what you did to fix this.
