How to stop a program editing monitor settings [Linux Arch]

I have recently setup EndavourOS and I'm running into an issue when running games in fullscreen mode.

I have 2 Screens:
Monitor 2 is my primary monitor(https://i.stack.imgur.com/0PcWA.png)

everything works fine until i launch a game in fullscreen mode.
It then changes the monitor layout and the scale of each monitor [Monitor 1 is on the right instead of the left of my primary])

I have run xrandr in the background:

Without Game in Fullscreen:

Code:
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 7744 x 2466, maximum 32767 x 32767
DP-0 connected primary 4384x2466+3360+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 621mm x 341mm

HDMI-1 connected 3360x2100+0+173 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 478mm x 300mm
With Game in fullscreen:

Code:
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 5520 x 2160, maximum 32767 x 32767
DP-0 connected primary 3840x2160+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 621mm x 341mm

HDMI-1 connected 1680x1050+3840+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 478mm x 300mm

I'm on cinnamon & when I open the display options (and leave them running in the background) It stops behaving that way. It runs completely normal & as expected.

My question is:
Is there a way to prevent the game from changing the configuration with it still being in fullscreen?
