enemy territory problem


ok im running unbuntu ( if it matters ) and i installed enemy territory and the patch i installed them both succesfully and so when i went to run et it just restarted X and braught me back to the login screen any ideas?

Do your Xorg.log (or XFree86.log) have any helpful pointers?
