Can't run UltraStar deluxe on Ubuntu 14.04 minimal

Hallo I'm very new to Linux/Ubuntu.
Until last weekend I only use it for xbmc on my HTPC.
But now I want to play some little games like UltrStar deluxe and maybe dolphin(WII emu)
on this system...

So I installed ultrastar-deluxe without problems. But when I tried to start it I got
the following errors

Code:
xbmc@mediacenter:/usr/games$ ./ultrastardx
An unhandled exception occurred at $000000000044822E :

  $00000000004C9EA6
  $000000000047250B
as next step I tried to start with sudo but without success...

Code:
xbmc@mediacenter:/usr/games$ sudo ./ultrastardx

I don't found answers on google. some of the problems are on ALSA, maybe with the defoult soundcards but I don't know how to solve it...

My HTPC: Board: B85M-ITX
CPU: i3 4330

so I've found one issue... I have done a newbi mistake.
I've tried to start via SSH remote. That can't work.
So I treid to start on the "real" konsole...
It only works as root, I hope that could be changed...
But when I start I got he following error in the Error-log of the game...

Code:
UltraStar Deluxe V 1.1.0 Build Error Log
Date: 18-6-14 Time: 16:52:14
-------------------
ERROR: Initialize failed, Removing - SDL_Playback
CRITICAL: SDL_SetVideoMode Failed [Initialize3D]
My problem is that I don't have a desktop on this pc it only works
xbmc...

So how can I start this game without errors?
