I can play CS 1.5 via wine(newest from CVS) no problem. When I try to play 1.6 (steam) via wine, I can come into login screen, then the screen where you choose which game. When I choose game it begins to load then immediatly says something along the lines of "opengl.dll not found". The first time around, it actually wasn't there. I installed it and now the problem still persists. Any suggestions on where to start.... or complete solution? Please post in baby steps... i am a N00b.

I have KT400 soyo board, and latest version of slackware if this is of any help. 2.4.xx kernel.

Sold my ATI card(9600xt).... bought a nvidia 5900.

BUYERS BEWARE - STAY AWAY FROM ATI until they fix thier driver issues.

shoot, i already have a radeon 9000... still, i dont think ati's drivers are all that ba, but they do need improvement.
