Exclamation 12sky wine/cedega

i have downloaded TwelveSky being under the impression that it runs almost perfectly in wine.

being the massive MAMMORPG fan i am i just had to give it a go, however, i installed it in wine and it all seemed good, until i went to run it, at this point it opens the launcher but doesn't let me press any buttons, then after a few seconds the launcher closes and nothing proceeds afterwards... i installed the extra DLL's as recomended on WineHQ but that did nothing.

i also attempted to install it using cedega, the installer ran far more smoothly in cedega i must admit but when i attempt to run the game i get a black box with the error [Error:mGXD.Init(9)] then when you click ok you get [Error:ApplicationInit()] then if you click ok the black box and errors dissapear, but nothing follows, everything succeeds in the cedega system test.

i have Direct X installed in both the bottles that TwelveSky are installed in and i see no reason it shouldn't run, except for the fact that i'm using ubuntu 7.10 rather than OpenSUSE as it was tested on WineHQ.

could someone point out what's going wrong? i'm using Wine 0.9.50 and Cedega 6.0.3

what happened was i had the launcher running as one windows version, which didn't have the dll's customised, i just put the launcher in the default settings in which i had done the DLL overrides
