Hi
Background : I've been trying out lfs for a few days without any success. I started out on RHEL 7 as i was quite familiar with it but after 4 attempts, I was told that Red hat and lfs don't get along well.)
Now i'm on arch
Problem :
After a normal binutil install ation, i am getting errors while running make for gcc
for the first time.
Here is the output of make :
Code:
configure: error:in `/mntlfs/sources/gcc-6.2.0/build/x86_64-lfs-linux-gnu/libmpx':
configure: error: C compiler can not create executables
See config.log for details.
