on running the make check and make install command in glibc (6.11) i get the following error message

/bin/sh : no: command not found
make[2]: ***[stamp-libm-err] Error 127
make[2]: Leaving directory `/sources/glibc-2.3.4-20040701/manual`
make[1]: ***[manual/subdir_install] Error 2
make [1]: Leaving directory `/sources/glibc-2.3.4-20040701`
make : *** [install] Error2

i removed the source directory and glibc-build and repeated the entire process again but still getting the same error in both make check and make install

what to do???
please help!!!!

I believe this is due to perl not being found. Make sure perl can be found in your current $PATH.

I'm in Chapter 6.9.1 of LFS 6.2

after "make install" i get this error:
