Recreating the repository

I have created local repository, but repodata directory was deleted from the repository folder, because of that when ever i issue the command yum list, it is searching for the file repomd.xml (Which was deleted)

I am trying to recreate the repository by issuing the command craterepo /dumps
ERROR:Old data directory exists, please remove: .olddata

while doing this error is coming and repodata directory is being created with no contents available in that.

I want to know, how can i remove the rpms from metadata and recreate the things.

just want to recreate the repostory.

help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
